Volunteer and Internship Positions

The Leadership Institute provides volunteer and internship opportunities to individuals who wish to deepen their understanding of sustainability and local connections and to develop related business or non-profit skills.

Volunteers and interns assist staff with programs including our Leadership in Sustainability Awards, Educating Leaders for a Sustainable Future course, Fellows Network events, and Smart Growth Symposium. We can often use help with technology and general office and clerical tasks as well! Please review the current openings and needs posted on our website or contact us to inquire about additional interests or skills you wish to offer.

Volunteers and interns work on a flexible schedule depending on availability and project workload. Positions are unpaid; however, volunteers and interns who provide significant assistance, are often invited to attend Institute events at no charge.
