Tanya Narath is the Executive Director, CEO and a Fellow of the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy. Under her leadership, the Institute educates, connects, and empowers leaders to create sustainable communities.
Tanya is a member of the Sonoma County GoLocal Cooperative Board of Directors and was recently appointed as the Sonoma County environment representative on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission’s Policy Advisory Council. She chairs the City of Santa Rosa’s Community Advisory Board and is a member of the Mayor’s Task Force on Economic Competitiveness.
Tanya is a Leadership Santa Rosa (LSR) Class XXIII graduate and serves on the LSR Steering Committee. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico, an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and an Executive Certificate from Dominican University’s Green your MBA Program. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, hiking and running marathons.
