How does the Sustainers’ Circle work?

After signing up, your specified donation amount will be charged to your credit or debit card on the date on which you signed up. You choose the amount of your gift, and can modify or cancel your donation at any time.

How much do I need to give to be a member?

$5 each month is all that is required to become a member of our Sustainers’ Circle and to receive the benefits.

What kinds of credit cards can I use? Can I use a debit card?

Network for Good can process American Express, MasterCard or Visa cards. If your debit card pictures one of these logos, it will work just fine.

Do I have to use a credit card or the Internet to join?

Using your credit card in conjunction with our secure Network for Good server allows your donation to be used most efficiently.  Using Network for Good to process donations saves the Leadership Institute a lot of time by handling the finances for us.  However, if you prefer to set up an automatic monthly withdrawal from your bank account, please contact us for instructions on setting this up.  If you use an online banking system, you may also set up an automatic monthly check payable to the Leadership Institute.

How do I change the amount I donate, my contact information, the credit card I am using, or cancel my Sustainers’ Circle membership?

You can modify your donation settings at any time by logging into your Network for Good subscription management page.  As soon you complete your initial donation, you will be asked to create a password. A separate email will be sent to you containing a link to a secure site where you can review and change your donation options (amount, frequency, billing information) at any time using the password created. You can also cancel your monthly donation from this page at any time.
Each month when your donation is processed, you will receive a confirmation email that will also include a link to login and manage your donation options.

Are my donations tax-deductible?  Will I receive a tax receipt for each of my donations?

All contributions made to the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy through the Network for Good are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Each month, when your credit card is charged, Network for Good automatically emails a tax receipt to you stating the amount of your donation. 

Is it safe to donate money over the Internet?

Yes. the Network for Good program uses a secure server to process donations.   And we will not sell or rent your name, address or e-mail to others.

May I still give one-time donations?

Yes.  We will continue to accept one-time donations.  However, we would encourage you to consider the ease of a one-time setup for monthly donations and the satisfaction of knowing you don’t have to keep track of how much or when you last gave.
